Kalpataru Power Transmission surges on securing new orders worth Rs 979 crore

Kalpataru Power Transmission is currently trading at Rs. 405.70, up by 4.50 points or 1.12% from its previous closing of Rs. 401.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 401.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 410.85 and Rs. 401.00 respectively. So far 2999 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 553.50 on 01-Jul-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 327.40 on 19-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 410.85 and Rs. 393.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6207.18 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.37%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.40% and 9.23% respectively.

Kalpataru Power Transmission has secured new orders / notification of award of around Rs 979 crore. The EPC orders are for railway electrification and gauge conversion works in India. Earlier, the company’s subsidiary -- JMC Projects (India) had secured new orders for Rs 615 crore.
