Indian Bank unveils prepaid gift and travel cards

In a bid to provide add on benefit to its customers, Indian Bank has launched prepaid gift and travel cards. The bank has tied up with Mastercard for this facility and by the end of this year it is targeting to sell around 100,000 travel cards and 200,000 gift cards. The bank has beefed up its card product portfolio with the launch of both the prepaid travel cards and gift cards.

The prepaid travel card comes with a validity of three years from the date of issue and enables an international traveler to withdraw cash or use the same at any shopping establishment for purchases. The card will have minimum initial load of $200 and the minimum recharge limit of $100.

Besides, the gift cards will have validity of one year and can be used in various merchant establishments. It will be available in denominations starting from Rs 1,000 and going up to a maximum of Rs 50,000.
