Tata Teleservices rises on paying additional Rs 2,000 crore to DoT

Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) is currently trading at Rs. 2.50, up by 0.05 points or 2.04% from its previous closing of Rs. 2.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2.55 and Rs. 2.36 respectively. So far 151247 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 5.27 on 06-Jun-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2.21 on 01-Jan-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2.92 and Rs. 2.36 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 494.60 crore.

Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) (TTML) and Tata Teleservices (TTSL) have made an on-account payment of an additional Rs 2,000 crore to the department of telecommunications (DoT) towards License Fees, Spectrum Usage Charges and applicable interest, penalty and interest on penalty.

The company had made a payment of Rs 2,197 crore to DoT on February 17, 2020.
