Bajaj Auto spurts on restarting operations at Aurangabad plant

Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs. 2521.20, up by 75.50 points or 3.09% from its previous closing of Rs. 2445.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2450.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2550.55 and Rs. 2450.50 respectively. So far 32751 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3315.00 on 03-Feb-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1793.10 on 24-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2550.55 and Rs. 2296.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 72427.12 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.52%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.98% and 22.49% respectively.

Bajaj Auto has restarted operations at its plant at Aurangabad in Maharashtra. The company is working with a limited work force amid lockdown to contain coronavirus, the company has decided to concentrate on export orders at present. The plant would be running with 800 employees.

Bajaj Auto is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
