Indiabulls Housing Finance jumps on seeking shareholders' approval to raise up to $300 million

Indiabulls Housing Finance is currently trading at Rs. 232.95, up by 1.40 points or 0.60% from its previous closing of Rs. 231.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 230.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 235.00 and Rs. 227.60 respectively. So far 1255828 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 737.95 on 08-Jul-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 81.25 on 20-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 236.80 and Rs. 203.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9992.41 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 23.09%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 49.48% and 27.43% respectively.

Indiabulls Housing Finance is going to convene an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on July 29 to seek shareholders' approval to raise up to $300 million by issuing securities through QIP or FCCB. The intent of the fundraising plan is to augment the long-term resources and to maintain sufficient liquidity for meeting funding requirements of its business activities.

Indiabulls Housing Finance is the second largest private housing finance company in India, regulated by the National Housing Bank (NHB).
