Hindustan Zinc inches up on raising Rs 3,520 crore via NCDs

Hindustan Zinc is currently trading at Rs. 213.40, up by 1.40 points or 0.66% from its previous closing of Rs. 212.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 214.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 215.15 and Rs. 212.00 respectively. So far 3618 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 258.80 on 11-Aug-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 122.00 on 13-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 215.15 and Rs. 203.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 89576.76 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.92%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.19% and 1.89% respectively.

Hindustan Zinc has raised Rs 3,520 crore through rated, listed, unsecured, redeemable, Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) and allotted 35,200 NCDs bearing a face value of Rs 10,00,000 each. The board of directors at its meeting held on September 29, 2020 has approved and allotted the same.

Hindustan Zinc, the world’s second biggest zinc producer, operates the world’s third largest open-pit mine, and world’s largest Zinc Mine in Rampura Agucha, Rajasthan.
