Bharat Petroleum Corporation jumps after upgrading bunkering facility with five jetties

Bharat Petroleum Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 353.60, up by 6.80 points or 1.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 346.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 347.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 356.40 and Rs. 347.75 respectively. So far 246027 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 549.70 on 21-Nov-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 252.00 on 24-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 359.45 and Rs. 338.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 77160.32 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.98%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 32.55% and 13.61% respectively.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) has upgraded its bunkering facility with five jetties that can now pump the oil into ships from the pipelines at the Marine Oil Terminal on the Butcher Island, off the east coast of the city.

The company expects to double its annual sales to 14 tmt from 7 tmt now after the updrade and complete mechanisaiton of the oil filling facilities now.

BPCL is into exploration, production and retailing of petroleum and petrol related products. The retail business unit of BPCL is into marketing of petrol, diesel and kerosene.
