NTPC gains on commissioning Unit-2 of Lara Super Thermal Power Station Stage-I

NTPC is currently trading at Rs. 88.40, up by 1.05 points or 1.20% from its previous closing of Rs. 87.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 88.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 88.70 and Rs. 87.70 respectively. So far 951500 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 125.00 on 15-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 74.00 on 23-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 92.10 and Rs. 83.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 87270.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.02%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 46.25% and 2.59% respectively.

NTPC has commissioned commercial operation of Unit-2 (800 MW) of Lara Super Thermal Power Station Stage-I (2 X 800 MW).

With this, the commercial capacity of NTPC and NTPC group will become 51155 MW and 62910 MW respectively.

NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
