Reliance Industries surges after its arm receives subscription amount from Public Investment Fund

Reliance Industries is currently trading at Rs. 2081.00, up by 30.70 points or 1.50% from its previous closing of Rs. 2050.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2075.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2089.90 and Rs. 2041.80 respectively. So far 673224 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2368.80 on 16-Sep-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 867.82 on 23-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2089.90 and Rs. 1840.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1408532.43 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.49%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.58% and 10.93% respectively.

Reliance Industries’ subsidiary company -- Reliance Retail Ventures has received the subscription amount of Rs 9,555 crore from Public Investment Fund (PIF) and allotted 140,051,300 equity shares to PIF.
