Tata Steel is currently trading at Rs. 474.80, up by 0.30 points or 0.06% from its previous closing of Rs. 474.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 472.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 479.80 and Rs. 466.50 respectively. So far 941192 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 505.95 on 14-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 250.90 on 30-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 479.80 and Rs. 422.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 56653.82 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.41%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 41.57% and 23.08% respectively.

Tata Steel has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hindustan Zinc to procure the firm's complete domestic zinc requirements. This initiative would bolster the idea of Aatmanirbhar Bharat with one of the largest companies choosing to become vocal for local.

Under this MoU, Hindustan Zinc will cater to both Tata Steel and Tata Steel BSL. The MoU is for the highest quantity to be ever signed by Hindustan Zinc and accounts for a quantity of around 45,000 tonnes of zinc and other value-added metals.
