HDFC jumps on planning to raise Rs 3000 crore through NCDs

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) is currently trading at Rs. 2350.30, up by 25.60 points or 1.10% from its previous closing of Rs. 2324.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2326.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2385.50 and Rs. 2326.00 respectively. So far 105486 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2499.65 on 14-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1473.10 on 24-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2385.50 and Rs. 2304.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 421328.25 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 88.67% and 11.33%, stake in the company respectively.

HDFC is planning to raise Rs 3000 crore through secured redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) with option to retain oversubscription upto Rs 2000 crore. Bid opening date will be November 23, 2020 and redemption date will be November 25, 2025.

HDFC offers a whole gamut of products like loans to individuals, loans to corporates, construction finance, and lease rental discounting. The financial conglomerate has subsidiaries and associates in insurance (general and life), asset management, education finance, venture funds and banking services.
