Tata Consumer Products surges after its arm enters into asset sale and purchase agreement

Tata Consumer Products is currently trading at Rs. 567.50, up by 3.70 points or 0.66% from its previous closing of Rs. 563.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 567.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 570.00 and Rs. 563.35 respectively.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 591.75 on 03-Sep-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 214.00 on 24-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 570.00 and Rs. 525.60 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.70%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.34% and 25.95% respectively.

Earth Rules Pty, Australia (Seller), a step-down subsidiary of Tata Consumer Products, has entered into an Asset Sale and Purchase Agreement on December 5, 2020 for sale of MAP Coffee Business to Buccheri Group Pty (Buyer).

Post completion of the above transaction, the Seller will continue to be a step-down subsidiary of the Company.
