Tata Power jumps after its arm commissions 100th Solar Microgrid Project in Uttar Pradesh

Tata Power Company is currently trading at Rs. 73.50, up by 0.70 points or 0.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 72.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 73.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 74.10 and Rs. 72.85 respectively. So far 1092705 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 75.00 on 09-Dec-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 27.00 on 12-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 75.00 and Rs. 70.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 23517.70 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.53% and 15.61% respectively.

TP Renewable Microgrid (TPRMG), a 100% Subsidiary of Tata Power, has commissioned its 100th Solar Microgrid project in a remote & small village of Ratnapur, Uttar Pradesh, coinciding with its first anniversary.

This 30kW Microgrid project harnesses energy from the sun using solar panels. The microgrid has a battery as an energy storage system. For the back-up power supply, a DG-set has been installed in the Microgrid itself, enabling 24x7 power supply to the community.
