Emami gains on getting WHO-GMP certification for two units at Gujarat

Emami is currently trading at Rs. 421.65, up by 3.20 points or 0.76% from its previous closing of Rs. 418.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 417.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 430.00 and Rs. 415.40 respectively. So far 48893 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 461.45 on 01-Dec-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 140.85 on 30-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 430.00 and Rs. 393.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 18707.36 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.56% and 8.59% respectively.

Emami has got WHO-GMP certification for its units at Vapi and Masat at Gujarat which manufactures ayurveda healthcare products under the 'Zandu' brand for a period of three years. The two units have also obtained Certificate of Pharmaceutical Products (CoPP).

Emami is the flagship company of the Emami Group and engaged in manufacturing products under various categories namely Hair Care, Skin Creams and Lotions, Talcum Powder and ayurvedic health care products.
