Centrum Capital zooms as its arm to acquire stake in Cent Bank Home Finance

Centrum Capital is currently trading at Rs. 17.00, up by 0.85 points or 5.26% from its previous closing of Rs. 16.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 16.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 17.30 and Rs. 16.30 respectively. So far 48805 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 28.10 on 13-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 7.70 on 26-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 17.45 and Rs. 15.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 711.42 crore.

Centrum Capital’s subsidiary company -- Centrum Housing Finance (CHFL) has entered into a Share Purchase Agreement with Central Bank of India (CBoI) for acquisition of CBoI's entire equity stake in Cent Bank Home Finance (CBHFL) constituting 64.40% of the share capital of CBHFL on a fully diluted basis, subject to the receipt of regulatory approvals first being obtained and compliance of applicable law. Cost of acquisition aggregate consideration of about Rs 160 crore.
