Biocon has launched Tacrolimus capsules in the US. Tacrolimus, a calcineurin inhibitor, is an immunosuppressant used in the treatment of organ transplant patients, which reduces the body’s ability to reject a transplanted organ. It has been particularly effective in treating patients of renal transplant for more than two decades.

TVS Motor Company has introduced the 2021 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V with Bluetooth enabled TVS SmartXonnect in Bangladesh. This is the first-of-its-kind two-wheeler connected cluster technology in the country. TVS SmartXonnect technology is displayed on the racing console of the motorcycle and connected to an exclusive mobile application. This cutting-edge Bluetooth enabled system showcases a range of race analytics to help riders review their riding stance and style.

Shashijit Infraprojects has got contract for construction of Industrial Building from Shree Sulphurics at Ankleshwar, Gujarat. The approximately value of the project is 700-1000 lakh. Project is likely to start by the first week of January, 2021. Mobilization of Machinery and Man power is already in process.

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) has partnered with electric two and three wheeler battery swapping solutions start-up VoltUp for opening battery swapping centres. The partnership is looking to open 50 battery swapping solutions centres across India in the next six months. The first two centres have been unveiled in Jaipur. With this tie up, VoltUp aims at providing infrastructure for instant swapping to end consumers, last mile delivery, shared mobility providers, OEM's and logistic players with smart lithium-ion batteries in a connected environment friendly manner.

Great Eastern Shipping Company (GE Shipping) has delivered its 2000 built Suezmax Crude Carrier ‘Jag Lateef’ to the buyers. The vessel was contracted for sale in November 2020. The company’s current fleet stands at 46 vessels, comprising 33 tankers (10 crude carriers, 18 product tankers, 5 LPG carrier) and 13 dry bulk carriers with an average age of 12.24 years aggregating 3.66 mn dwt. The company has contracted to buy a Secondhand Capesize Bulk Carrier which is expected to be delivered in H2 FY20-21.

SpiceJet has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Air freight forwarder Skyways Air Services for transporting COVID-19 vaccine across India. Under the collaboration, Skyways will provide cold chain transportation and storage along with dedicated last-mile connectivity, while SpiceJet will provide connectivity across its pan-India network with full temperature mapping controls. In addition, Skyways will also provide custom brokering services, wherever required in India, Germany and the US.
