India Grid Trust, KEC International and JB Chemicals to see some action today

India Grid Trust has completed acquisition of 74% paid-up capital of Parbati Koldam Transmission Company from Reliance Infrastructure. The acquisition of aforesaid power transmission asset is in line with IndiGrid’s investment strategy as provided in the Trust Deed focused on stable distribution to unitholders by owning power infrastructure assets with long term tariff contracts.

KEC International has secured new orders of Rs 1,024 crore across its various businesses. Transmission & Distribution business has secured orders for T&D projects in India, Middle East, Africa and the Americas. Railways business has secured an order for a Doubling project including Track linking, Signaling & Telecommunication (S&T) and Overhead Electrification (OHE) works in India.

JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals has received approval for its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) from the US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) for Loratadine Tablets USP 10 mg (for treatment of allergic rhinitis caused by pollen and upper respiratory tract allergy) for over-the-counter (OTC) use. This product is generic version of Clarting tablet in the same strength of Bayer Healthcare LLC. The Company expects to commercialize this product in Q1 of FY 2021-22 and is expected to improve Company's US sales.

ARSS Infrastructure Projects’ Joint Venture (JV)--ARSS-SCPL has received a work order of Rs 146.42 crore (including GST) from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for Completion of Balance Work of Panikoili-Rimuli section of NH-215 (new NH-20) from Km. 0.000 to Km. 163.000 (Design Chainage Km. 0.000 to Km. 166.173) in the State of Odisha on single percentage item rate contract.

Sobha’s sales bookings rose 29 percent year-on-year to Rs 887.6 crore in the third quarter this fiscal (Q3FY21) as against Rs 689.9 crore in the same period previous year on better housing demand during the festive season. The company's sales booking increased on account of rise in volume as well as price realization.

Apollo Micro Systems has bagged a supply order from Bharat Electronics (BEL) a Defence Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) worth Rs 49.86 crore with a repeat order clause, for maximum of 120% of the units originally ordered, according to BEL terms and conditions.

Ultramarine & Pigments has successfully commissioned the Sulphonation plant set up at Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) Industrial Park, Naidupet, SPSR Nellore in the state of Andhra Pradesh to manufacture surfactants / specialty chemicals. The commercial production of the plant has commenced from January 8, 2021.
