HPL Electric and Power falls even after posting 25% sales growth in consumer segment

HPL Electric & Power is currently trading at Rs. 44.55, down by 1.70 points or 3.68% from its previous closing of Rs. 46.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 46.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 46.95 and Rs. 44.00 respectively. So far 82571 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 49.50 on 15-Jan-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 18.30 on 23-Mar-2020.

HPL Electric and Power has posted 25 per cent year-on-year sales growth in consumer segment to Rs 135 crore during the third quarter of current fiscal. It was primarily driven by the festive season, pick-up in economic activity and improved consumer sentiment.
