Indiabulls Power jumps as arm successfully conducts boiler light up

Indiabulls Power is currently trading at Rs. 12.86, up by 0.307 points or 2.39% from its previous closing of Rs. 12.56 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 12.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 13.10 and Rs. 12.75 respectively. So far 76,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 20.70 on 05-Mar-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 8.10 on 29-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 13.35 and Rs. 12.12 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3,398.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.79% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.76% and 16.45% respectively.

Indiabulls Power’s wholly owned subsidiary - Indiabulls Realtech, has successfully conducted the boiler light up for the first 270 MW unit of its 1350 MW power plant located at Sinnar, Nashik District in Maharashtra. Following the boiler light up, the commercial operation is expected to commence in January 2013.

Indiabulls Power was established to capitalize on emerging opportunities in the Indian power sector. It develops and intends to operate and maintain power projects in India.
