Panacea Biotec tumbles as Adar Poonawalla offloads entire stake of the company

Panacea Biotec is currently trading at Rs. 377.90, down by 7.00 points or 1.82% from its previous closing of Rs. 384.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 389.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 393.15 and Rs. 375.90 respectively. So far 64595 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 407.20 on 28-Apr-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 141.00 on 22-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 393.15 and Rs. 342.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2315.28 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.59%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.37% and 25.04% respectively.

Serum Institute of India CEO Adar Poonawalla has offloaded his entire stake in Panacea Biotec amounting to 5.15 per cent shareholding of the firm for Rs 118 crore, through an open market transaction. The shares were picked by Serum Institute of India (SII).
