Bajaj Auto gains on extending free service period of all models till July 31 amid COVID-19

Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs. 4087.75, up by 22.20 points or 0.55% from its previous closing of Rs. 4065.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 4078.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4098.30 and Rs. 4043.95 respectively. So far 24868 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4361.20 on 04-Feb-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2458.30 on 28-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4098.30 and Rs. 3814.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 118286.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.70%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.28% and 22.02% respectively.

Bajaj Auto has extended the free service period of all its brands in the country till July 31 in the wake of lockdowns and travel restrictions announced by several states due the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. The free service period of vehicles expiring between April 1 and May 31 will now be extended till July 31.

Bajaj Auto is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
