Ircon International jumps on winning bid to set-up 500 MW solar power plant through e-Reverse auction

Ircon International is currently trading at Rs. 46.00, up by 1.45 points or 3.25% from its previous closing of Rs. 44.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 44.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 46.60 and Rs. 44.60 respectively. So far 668421 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 54.20 on 11-Feb-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 36.40 on 13-Oct-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 46.60 and Rs. 42.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4255.83 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.18%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 3.18% and 23.64% respectively.

Ircon International has won a bid to set-up 500 MW solar power plant through e-Reverse auction with a Viability Gap Funding (VGF) of Rs 224.70 crore under CPSU Scheme-II floated by Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA). The approximate cost of the project is Rs 2400 crore.
