Ircon International emerges as lowest bidder in railway signalling projects

Ircon International has emerged as lowest bidder in the Railway signalling projects floated by the Ministry of Transport Services Management, Sri Lanka and the Ministry of Railways, Bangladesh. These works have been awarded on competitive bidding basis.

The Railway signalling projects floated by Ministry of Transport Services Management, Sri Lanka for Design, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Signalling System from Maho Junction to Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka under the Indian Line of Credit. The value of the project is approximately $15.5 million equivalent to Rs 114 crore. The completion period of the project is about one year. The Railway signalling projects floated by Ministry of Railways, Bangladesh for construction of Non-Interlocked color light Signalling System for all (09) stations including Construction of Telecommunication System with Optical Fibre in connection with Construction of Khulna-Mongla Port Rail Line Project. The value of the project is approximately BDT 28 crore equivalent to Rs 24 crore. The completion period of the project is around six months.
