Ashok Leyland, Bharti Airtel and Bajaj Electricals to see some action today

Ashok Leyland is planning to open 10 outlets in the North Eastern parts of the country to strengthen its presence in the region and meet rising demand and inaugurated a dealership in Guwahati as part of the exercise. The Chennai-headquartered heavy commercial vehicle maker also delivered 33 full built 4,825 trucks to cement major Dalmia Cements in the city.

Moody’s Investors Service has revised Bharti Airtel and its subsidiary Bharti Airtel Int'l (Netherlands) BV’s ratings outlook to positive from stable. The outlook change to positive reflects Bharti's improving operating per­formance and credit metrics which, if sustained, could support an upgrade to investment grade within the next 12-18 months.

Bajaj Electricals has launched its new range of water heaters with advanced features like 'Child Safety mode' and 'Auto Shut Off' technology exclusively catering to the safety requirements of consumers. The new range of water heaters including, 'Bajaj Campagno' water heater boasts of the 'Child Safety mode' that ensures the water temperature is suitable for young children allowing consumers to be stress-free about hot water burns.

KDDL has acquired 2,06,930 (20.69%) equity shares of Rs 10 each of ‘Kamla Tesio Dials’ (KTDL). Post the above acquisition, shareholding of the company has increased from 49.10 % to 69.79 % and by virtue of this acquisition, KTDL has become subsidiary of the Company. The acquisition will help the Company to capture additional market share of customers in Domestic Market.

Schaeffler India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Guidance, the nodal agency for the Government of Tamil Nadu (GoTN) for investment promotion and facilitation, to extend its production footprint in the state. The agreement was signed at the Tamil Nadu investment conclave in Coimbatore. Under the agreement, Schaeffler India will invest over Rs 3000 million in next four years to set-up a new greenfield manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu for manufacturing of transmission components and systems for Automotive and Tractor segments.

Gautam Gems has secured order of Rs 5 crore. The company has received order from US and UK based companies. The order is for manufacturing of polished diamonds.
