BEML bags orders worth Rs 230 crore from Coal India’s subsidiary

BEML, a premier defence PSU has bagged orders worth Rs 230 crore from Coal India’s subsidiary - Central Coalfields and Northern Coalfields. The orders are for supply of 100 tonnes and 60 tonnes dump trucks and were bagged in August and September. As of date, the company's combined order book position stands at Rs 4,712 crore for the year.

Recently, the company had launched products in Thailand by appointing Paragon Machinery as its distributor for Thailand. With this business association, Paragon Company will market the range of BEML products like Dump trucks, Excavators, Loaders, Motor Graders, Dozers etc. all over Thailand and neighboring Nations like Myanamar, Lagos, Cambodia etc.

BEML is a Public Sector Undertaking, operates on three major business verticals for associated equipment manufacturing namely mining and construction, defence and rail and metro. It manufactures rail coaches and spare parts and mining equipment at its Bangalore complex.
