Vedant Fashions has debuted at Rs 936.00 on the BSE, up by 70 points or 8.08% from its issue price of Rs 866.00.
The scrip is currently trading at Rs 931.10, up by 65.10 points or 7.52% from its issue price. It has touched a high and low of Rs 954.90 and Rs 926.25 respectively. So far 0.67 lakh shares were traded on the counter.
Vedant Fashions IPO was subscribed 2.57 times on the final day. The maximum support was led by qualified institutional buyers whose reserved portion was subscribed 7.49 times. However, there was muted demand from non-institutional investors and retail investors whose allotted quota was booked 1.07 times and 39 percent respectively. The issue price was fixed at Rs 866 per share i.e. at upper end of price band of Rs 824-866 apiece. The IPO was open for subscription from February 04-08.
Vedant Fashions is engaged in India’s fashion sector. It is the parent enterprise to the labels - Manyavar, Mohey and Mebaz.
