Shyam Metalics and Energy, Isgec Heavy Engineering and Infosys to see some action today

Shyam Metalics and Energy has announced that the following Production capacities have been commissioned at the respective location of the Company and its Material Wholly Owned Subsidiary i.e., Shyam Sel & Power and are ready for commercial production. The company has commissioned Pellet Plant with additional capacity of 6,00,000 TPA at Sambalpur, Odisha. Shyam Sel & Power has commissioned Pellet Plant with additional capacity of 6,00,000 TPA and Sponge Iron of 3,20,000 TPA at Jamuria, West Bengal. Shyam Sel & Power has commissioned Aluminium Foil capacity of 30000 TPA at Pakuria, West Bengal.

Isgec Heavy Engineering has received a prestigious order from Shree Cement for Cement Waste Heat Recovery Boilers for their 3.8 MTPA clinker capacity, integrated Cement Plant at Nawalgarh, District Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. The scope of work includes designing, manufacturing, and supplying of PH Boiler in the Pre Heater exhaust and AQC Boiler in the Cooler exhaust.  

Infosys has collaborated with Dow Jones to develop new human centered digital experiences. As part of the program, Infosys will work with Dow Jones to build and deliver an enhanced set of capabilities that will use analytics and machine learning to save decision-makers time and separate the signal from the noise.

Bharat Forge’s wholly owned subsidiary -- Kalyani Strategic Systems (KSSL) has incorporated wholly owned subsidiary namely ‘Sagar-Manas Technologies’ (SMTL). SMTL has been incorporated pursuant to a Joint Venture Agreement (Agreement) executed between KSSL and Open Joint Stock Company Dastan Transnational Corporation (Dastan) with an aim to participate in joint upgradation and manufacturing/ providing solutions for marine and defence products which will be undertaken through SMTL as a special purpose vehicle.

A meeting of Board of Directors of Yasho Industries is scheduled to be held on March 16, 2022, to consider and approve capital expenditure for new greenfield project for the capacity of 15,500 Metric Tonne per annum at Pakhajan Village, Taluka: Vagra, Dist. Bharuch.

Atul has completed the expansion of its Sulphur Black manufacturing facility – the production capacity will increase from 9,800 tonnes per annum to 26,000 tonnes per annum. The company is one of the leading producers of Sulphur Black in the world. The state-of-the-art integrated plant will produce both, liquid as well as powder formulations.

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has signed an agreement with Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) towards augmentation of IOC’s crude oil volumes at Mundra. IOC shall expand its existing Crude Oil Tank Farm at APSEZ’s Mundra Port, thus enabling it to handle and blend additional 10 mmtpa crude oil at Mundra. This will support IOC’s expansion of its Panipat Refinery (Haryana).
