Zydus Lifesciences, Kajaria Ceramics and PNB Housing Finance to see some action today

Zydus Lifesciences has received final approval from the USFDA to market Nitroglycerin Sublingual Tablets in the strengths of 0.3 mg, 0.4mg and 0.6mg (US RLD: Nitrostat Sublingual Tablets). Nitroglycerin Sublingual Tablets are used to relieve chest pain (angina) in people who have a certain heart condition (coronary artery disease). It may also be used before physical activities to help prevent chest pain. Nitroglycerin belongs to a class of drugs known as nitrates. Angina occurs when the heart muscle is not getting enough blood.

Kajaria Ceramics has announced the launch of its largest store in the country to sell tiles and bathware products. The 100th Kajaria Eternity World showroom, which has come up in an 11,000 square feet area in Lajpat Nagar, offers tiles and Kerovit bathware products under one roof. Delhi is one of its most important marketplaces. This centrally positioned store will not only serve the residents of Delhi but also the people of the NCR region.

The Board of Directors of PNB Housing Finance at its meeting held on March 09, 2022, have approved the proposal for fund raising upto an amount not exceeding Rs 2,500 crores subject to receipt of regulatory approvals, as may be required, by way of issue of equity shares on rights issue basis to the eligible equity shareholders of the company as on the record date, to be announced later. The detailed terms in relation to the rights issue, including the issue price, rights entitlement ratio, record date, timing and terms of payment will be determined in due course.

J Kumar Infraprojects has secured two projects for Rs 2031.74 crore. The first order is for development of Mula Mutha River from Bund Garden Bridge to Mundhwa (Stretch 10 and 11) under Pune River Rejuvenation Project and Construction & Development of Riverside Road from Bund Garden Bridge to Mundhwa (Right Hand Side) on Public Private Partnership Module against Development Credit Note awarded amounting to Rs 604.75 crore.

Ugar Sugar Works has completed the establishment of 200 KLPD distillery. The company has started a trial run testing of the 200 KLPD Distillery from March 9, 2022. Earlier, the company had received Environmental Clearance for expansion for 645 KLPD on sugarcane juice / syrup to Ethanol.

Karnataka Bank has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SELCO Solar Light, engaged in the business of designing, assembling, selling and servicing of solar energy products for the last 27 years with the main objective of providing energy access to underserved population. Under this collaborative initiative, Karnataka Bank provides financial support to individuals/ HUF/ Farmers/ Traders/Businessmen / Proprietorship concerns / Professionals / Salaried Persons/Institutions etc to purchase the solar energy products of SELCO Solar Light in India.

Bharti Airtel has entered into an agreement resulting into acquisition of aggregate 9.01% equity stake in Avaada CleanTN Project, a special purpose vehicle formed for the purpose of owning and operating the Captive Power Plant, in terms of the regulatory requirement for captive power consumption under electricity laws. Cost of acquisition is Rs 7.89 crore.
