Uma Exports has debuted at Rs 80.00 on the BSE, up by 12 points or 17.65% from its issue price of Rs 68.
The scrip is currently trading at Rs 83.00 up by 15.00 points or 22.06% from its issue price. It has touched a high and low of Rs 84.00 and Rs 76.00 respectively. So far 5.90 lakh shares were traded on the counter.
Uma Exports’ IPO received a decent response from investors, getting subscribed 7.67 times. Retail portion was subscribed 10.11 times, qualified institutional buyers 2.81 times, and non-institutional investors 2.22 times. The offering was opened for subscription between March 28, 2022 and March 30, 2022 and the issue price was fixed at Rs 68 per share i.e. at upper end of price band of Rs 65-68 apiece.
Uma Exports specializes in the global supply chain management of agricultural produce and commodities, such as lentis sugar, spices, food grains and agricultural feed. It has developed specialist competency in importing lentils, fava beans, black urad dal and tur dal majorly from Canada, Australia and Burma, and exporting sugar to Sri Lanka, UAE and Afghanistan and corn to Bangladesh.
