Transport Corporation trades higher on the BSE

Transport Corporation of India (TCI) is currently trading at Rs. 80.00, up by 2.30 points or 2.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 77.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 78.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 81.60 and Rs. 78.00 respectively. So far 9609 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 89.70 on 12-Dec-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 52.55 on 31-May-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 81.60 and Rs. 76.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 582.97 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.09% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.98% and 23.93% respectively.

Transport Corporation of India (TCI), the integrated supply chain and logistics solutions provider has launched a quarterly publication ‘Logistics Focus’ where the company has kept the theme of the inaugural issue as ‘Criticality of After-Market Services’ in the logistics industry.

Besides, the issue also covers various facets of spares and service management primarily from a maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) perspective.

TCI is the flagship company of TCI Group and provides full truck load and less than full truck load transportation to a network of over 3000 destinations in India.
