Bajaj Auto, Vikas Lifecare and Maruti Suzuki India to see some action today

Bajaj Auto’s wholly-owned subsidiary -- Chetak Technology has inaugurated its dedicated and integrated electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing facility at Akurdi, Pune. Chetak Technology and its vendor partners will be investing nearly Rs 750 crore in this new electric vehicle manufacturing plant. Spread in 6.5-acre of land, the 5-lakh annual capacity two-wheeler production plant, aims to cater to both domestic and export markets.

Vikas Lifecare has announced the addition of Premium Almonds and Walnuts to its Agro-Products offing thereby strengthening its presence in fastest growing Premium Quality & Nutrient-Rich Food Supplement, Dry-Fruits market. The company has received encouraging results in the form of approvals on the aggressive efforts and commercial orders have started flowing in for these newly added products. The commercial supplies of Almonds and Walnuts will begin as soon as July 2022. The new products are expected to contribute considerably to the sales thus the targets assigned for Agro Products Division have been revised upwards, now eyeing at Rs 2000 Million Annual Sales for Agro Business on stand alone basis.

Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has shipped 2.33 lakh units through Railways last fiscal (FY22), its highest ever dispatch in a financial year so far, since commencing the initiative eight years ago. The company's dispatch in FY22 was 23 per cent up from 1.89 lakh units it transported using Railways in the FY21. Cumulatively, the company has transported close to 11 lakh vehicles through Indian Railways in the last eight years, helping avoid over 4,800 MT of carbon dioxide emissions.

NHPC has signed Contract agreement with Adani Infra (India) for EPC contract for development of 600 MW solar project under CPSU scheme Phase-II. The Company is expanding its Renewable Energy Portfolio and has taken up several Renewable Energy Projects under different modes. This initiative of NHPC will be a big milestone towards making India Carbon neutral.

Inox Wind has raised Rs 99 crore through non-convertible debentures (NCDs). In this regards, the IWL Committee of the Board of Directors for Operations in their meeting held on June 10, 2022 has approved the allotment of fully paid-up 990 - 9.75% Rated, Listed, Secured, Redeemable, NCDs having face value of Rs 10 lakh each of the company, at par, aggregating Rs 99 crore, on private placement basis.

Trident has reported 14,372 metric tons production of paper in May, 2022. The company’s bath linen and yarn production stood at 3,364 metric tons and 9, 191 metric tons, respectively, while bed linen production stood at 2.85 million metres during May. The company’s chemicals production stood at 8,923 metric tons.

Lemon Tree Hotels has signed a License Agreement for a 44 room hotel at Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh under the company's brand 'Keys Lite by Lemon Tree Hotels'. The hotel is expected to be operational by March, 2023. Carnation Hotels, a subsidiary and the hotel management arm of the company will be operating this hotel.
