Mahindra Satyam gains on inking partnership agreement with TechMatrix Corporation, Japan

Mahindra Satyam is currently trading at Rs. 118.80, up by 0.70 points or 0.59% from its previous closing of Rs. 118.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 118.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 120.05 and Rs. 117.05 respectively. So far 753785 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 118.60 on 14-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 64.00 on 27-Jan-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 118.60 and Rs. 103.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13983.03 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.64% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.29% and 21.07% respectively.

Mahindra Satyam, a leading global consulting and IT services provider, has signed a partnership agreement with TechMatrix Corporation, Japan. The partnership covering ASEAN region will jointly address strategic growth areas in the healthcare market and provide cloud-based healthcare solutions.

TechMatrix subsidiary, ICHIGO LLC, will provide its Tele-radiology network infrastructure product line and NOBORI, its Cloud service for Medical and Healthcare information. Mahindra Satyam in-turn will host the cloud and mobile-based services in Singapore and Malaysia while providing direct sales and IT services to clients throughout ASEAN region.

As part of this partnership, Mahindra Satyam and TechMatrix will come together to invest in Sales & Marketing resources as-well-as Software & Hardware enhancement in this unique technology. This unique setup has a combination of Cloud based central servers and a proprietary set top-box like appliance, which makes following capabilities / functionalities available like maximum, multi-level security for Tele-radiology,  exceptionally fast performance and vendor-neutral medical image storage, management and retrieval.

As a first step in this partnership, Mahindra Satyam has installed ‘Ichigo Tele-radiology iComServer’ in its Singapore data center and launched activities to support initial installations. As a second step in 2013, Mahindra Satyam and TechMatrix will jointly launch the NOBORI Cloud healthcare services, including Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS), a vendor-neutral solution for medical image storage, management and retrieval.
