Tech Mahindra, Macrotech Developers and HUDCO to see some action today

Tech Mahindra and Google have inked a strategic partnership that licenses street-level imagery to Google toward the launch of their Street View feature in the country. The partnership will leverage output from Tech Mahindra’s ‘Gullyfy’ project done in collaboration with eco-system partners, and is being carried out by Tech Mahindra in accordance with the accuracy thresholds laid out in the geospatial guidelines.

Macrotech Developers has formed three joint ventures with landowners during April-June quarter to develop housing projects with an estimated sales value of Rs 6,200 crore and is exploring for more tie-ups. The company is looking to form more partnerships across its three focus markets -- Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Pune and Bengaluru -- to expand its business in a asset-light manner and achieve higher growth.

Housing & Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has received an approval for the proposal to raise up to Rs 22,000 crore through bonds and debentures during the financial year 2022-23 (FY23), to finance affordable housing and urban infrastructure projects. The board of company in its meeting held on July 28, 2022 gave approval to this effect.

Aban Offshore has received a Letter of Award (LoA) for deployment of jack-up rig ABAN III from ONGC for a firm period of three years. The deployment is expected to commence during the first quarter of the Calendar year 2023. 

Jubilant FoodWorks has entered into Share Subscription agreement, Shareholders’ agreement and Share Purchase agreement on July 28, 2022 to acquire 40% stake fully diluted basis in Roadcast Tech Solutions. This investment reflects the Company’s intent of making strategic investments in promising start-ups and emerging businesses and is in line with the stated goal of building a multi-brand and multi-country food business powered by technology. Cost of acquisition is around Rs 14.98 crore.

Cochin Shipyard (CSL) has delivered the country's first indigenously-built aircraft carrier (IAC-1) to the Indian Navy which would induct and commission the vessel into service as the INS Vikrant. The IAC would serve to bolster India's position in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) and its quest for a blue water Navy.
