Godrej Properties, Ashok Leyland and Cummins India to see some action today

Godrej Properties is planning to launch a new luxury housing project in Delhi's Ashok Vihar this year, which has a potential to generate about Rs 8,000 crore sales revenue.  The company is waiting for some pending government approvals to launch this 27-acre luxury residential project in Delhi-NCR, its best performing market last fiscal.

Switch Mobility, the electric vehicle division of Hinduja Group flagship Ashok Leyland, has joined hands with transport technology company Chalo to deploy 5,000 electric buses across the country. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard has been inked for an initial period of three years. Under the partnership, Switch and Chalo will jointly invest to deploy electric buses in cities where Chalo is present.

Cummins India has launched an innovative clear air solution - Retrofit Emission Control Device (‘RECD’) in collaboration with PI Green Innovations. As a part of this contract, with PI Green Innovations Pvt. Ltd. Cummins will be marketing RECD through its vast distribution network in India. RECD is built on filterless technology and based on Electrostatic Precipitation fundamentals. It is highly efficient in improving air quality and capturing Particulate Matter (PM) from the air with more than 70% efficiency.

Jammu & Kashmir Bank (J&K Bank) has set a long-term goal of achieving Rs 4 lakh crore business in the next five years with annual profit of Rs 4,000 crore. The long-term objectives are backed by well thought out strategies and monitorable execution plans that would be periodically reviewed to ensure achievement of all interim milestones. The bank is also working on short-term goals like fixing monthly targets for each business line.

Taneja Aerospace and Aviation (TAAL) has entered into an agreement with Aerospace Engineers (AEPL) for the execution of its existing orders. AEPL has indemnified TAAL for any claims arising from its customers for commercial / technical reasons. This Agreement was necessitated as a result of TAAL disposing-off certain old machineries and equipment.

Dabur India has launched ‘Dabur Vedic Green Tea Detox Kahwa Green Tea’ infused with Ayurvedic Herbs and Rock Salt. The company has launched the said product under its Dabur Vedic Tea portfolio.  Unlike regular green tea, Dabur Vedic Green Tea Detox Kahwa is infused with 8 real Ayurvedic Herbs and Rock Salt. It is a Gluten Free product which helps in Detoxification, Weight Loss, Boosting Metabolism and improving Digestion and leaves a lovely Salty and Spicy Zing on the tongue.

Trent has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2022. The company has reported net profit of Rs 102.62 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 83.75 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by many folds at Rs 1,694.37 crore for Q1FY23 as compared Rs 379.64 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net profit at Rs 114.93 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 138.29 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by many folds at Rs 1,846.98 crore for Q1FY23 as compared Rs 544.79 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
