Hindustan Aeronautics bags contract worth Rs 6,800 crore from Indian Air Force

The Indian Air Force has planned to buy trainer aircrafts from Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL). For this, Indian Air Force and Hindustan Aeronautics concluded a contract for 70 HTT-40 indigenous trainer aircraft worth Rs 6,800 crore. The announcement was made at the conclusion of three business days at the ongoing DefExpo at Gandhinagar.

Hindustan Aeronautics is Bengaluru based Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSU) Company engaged in the design, development, manufacture, repair, overhaul, upgrade and servicing of a wide range of products including, aircraft, helicopters, aero-engines, avionics, accessories and aerospace structures.
