Apollo Tyres catches speed on reporting 12% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Apollo Tyres is currently trading at Rs. 299.35, up by 13.80 points or 4.83% from its previous closing of Rs. 285.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 291.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 303.40 and Rs. 287.75 respectively. So far 575986 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 303.40 on 16-Sep-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 165.40 on 07-Mar-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 303.40 and Rs. 282.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 18897.43 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 37.34%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 41.20% and 21.46% respectively.

Apollo Tyres reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2022.

The company has reported fall of 9.87% in its net profit at Rs 80.80 crore for Q2FY23 as compared to Rs 89.65 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 16.02% to Rs 4271.13 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 3,681.46 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported rise of 11.88% in its net profit at Rs 194.45 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 173.81 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 16.78% to Rs 5962.90 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 5106.21 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
