Maruti Suzuki, M&M and NLC India to see some action today

Maruti Suzuki India has reported 14 per cent increase in total wholesales at 1,59,044 units in November 2022. The company had dispatched 1,39,184 units to dealers in November 2021. The company's domestic sales rose 18 per cent to 1,39,306 units in November 2022 as against 1,17,791 units in November 2021.

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has reported a 56 per cent rise in domestic passenger vehicles sales at 30,392 units in November 2022. The company had sold 19,458 units in the same month last year. Utility vehicle sales were at 30,238 units as against 19,384 units in the year-ago month, up 56 per cent. Sales of cars and vans were higher at 154 units as compared to 74 units in the same month last year.

NLC India (NLCIL) has announced that a MoU was signed between NLCIL & GRIDCO for the purpose of setting up of Ground Mounted / Floating solar power projects, pumped hydro storage projects, green hydrogen projects and any other renewable projects at Make in Odisha Conclave being held at Bhubaneswar on December 1, 2022. This MoU shall enable both the parties towards the National targets for RE capacity and Energy Transition goal.

Trident has been granted patent for Fabric and Method of Manufacturing Fabric by Patent Office India. The present invention comprises a method of producing a fabric by subjecting the fabric to a special treatment, thereby obtaining increased air space in the resultant fabric. This will help the company to deliver its special soft towels without usage of any chemical-based fibers enabling it to save environment and at the same time to deliver its soft luxury towels in Indian Market. The grant of this patent provides further recognition of the quality of the innovation being carried out by Trident.

Orchid Pharma’s board has approved the company’s Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) programme to raise Rs 500 crore, subject to approval of the shareholders. Edelweiss Financial Services and JM Financial are the investment banks handling the share sale.

NMDC has reported 3.61 million tonne (MT) of iron ore production and logged sales volume of 3.04 MT in the month of November 2022. The company’s Chhattisgarh mines produced 2.57 MT of iron ore and registered sales volume of 2.14 MT, while Karnataka mines produced 1.04 MT of iron ore and sold 0.90 MT of iron ore in November 2022.
