Tata Advanced Materials (TAML), a provider of composite solutions and manufacturing catering to the global aerospace, space defense and industrial markets, has inked a MoU with UK-based Strongfield Technologies, manufacturer and supplier of high-tech components and equipment for supply of defence and space applications. Both the companies at Aero India 2013, the five-day international air show and exhibition, inked the MOU.
This MoU, between Tata Advanced Materials and Strongfield Technologies for the tender to supply to Indian defence aerial targets, underscores the significance of Aero India in articulating successive partnership between UK and India.
Under the terms of the MOU, TAML and Strong-field will jointly search for potential business co-operation areas in various segments of the Pilotless Target Aircraft activities as well as other aerospace and defence activities. The pact signed covers designing, manufacturing and supplying composite products for aerospace, armour, defence, transportation and infrastructure sectors.
Strongfield Technologies, through this MoU, proposes to involve India’s defence industry in relation with the offset requirements, namely Pilotless Target Aircraft. UK based company, back in 2012, evaluated TAML facilities, and was satisfied with company’s high standards of quality and capability.
