Adani Green Energy edges higher on getting nod from Andhra Pradesh SIPB for hydro storage power project

Adani Green Energy is currently trading at Rs. 2023.00, up by 4.30 points or 0.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 2018.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2014.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2030.00 and Rs. 2012.10 respectively. So far 22170 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3048.00 on 19-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1283.00 on 30-Dec-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2065.00 and Rs. 2010.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 320077.52 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.51% and 22.73% respectively.

Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) has given an approval for 1,600 megawatts pumped hydro storage power projects by Adani Green Energy which will invest Rs 6,330 crore providing direct employment to over 4,000 people.  
 
The company will set up a 1,000 MW plant in Pedakota of Alluri Sitarama Raju district, and a 600 MW plant at Raiwada in Anakapalli and Vizianagaram districts.

Adani Green Energy builds, owns and operates power plants powered by renewable sources of energy like solar and wind.
