Kajaria Ceramics, Wipro and Hindustan Foods to see some action today

Kajaria Ceramics’ wholly-owned subsidiary -- Kajaria International DMCC, U.A.E., has executed a Joint Venture Agreement with AL Rathath Marble Factory LLC, U.A.E. The purpose of this Agreement is to run the business of Glazed Vitrified Tiles, Sanitaryware/Bathware products, marbles, granites, natural stones and allied products in U.A.E. through a company namely Kajaria RMF Trading LLC, U.A.E., by way of acquiring its shares in the equal ratio, i.e. 50:50, on joint venture basis.

Wipro has been selected by Mazda Motor Logistics Europe to deliver next generation managed services for its entire application landscape. Mazda is currently transforming itself into a more centralized organization with harmonized business processes and standardized business capabilities, resulting in reduced cost and complexity. This strategic relationship with Wipro will help industrialize Mazda IT, digitize processes, and further enable agile DevOps ways of working while infusing state-of-the-art tools to drive automation.

Hindustan Foods (HFL) has executed Business Transfer Agreement  (BTA)  for  acquisition  of  Reckitt  Benckiser  Health  India’s  (Reckitt)  manufacturing  facility  in  village  Sandholi,  Baddi,  Himachal  Pradesh  (Undertaking)  as  a  move  to  further expand its Health Care & Wellness division. Subject to fulfilment of the conditions precedent set out under BTA, the transfer of the Undertaking is expected to be completed by H2 of calendar year 2023. 

Macrotech Developers is planning to invest Rs 330 crore to develop a premium warehousing project in Mumbai as part of its expansion plan and to tap rising demand from e-commerce and third-party logistic companies. Macrotech Developers, which markets its properties under the Lodha brand, is one of the leading real estate firms in the country.

Arfin India has received a major export order from steel plant of Saudi Arabia - Middle East for supply of Aluminium Deox amounting to Rs 350 crore. The supply of the said order is to be completed in phases of 4 years.

In its efforts of enhancing customer experience and travel experience in terms of international connectivity, InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) has shifted its flight operations to terminal 2 of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. IndiGo has moved its daily scheduled flights to Terminal-2 of King Khalid International Airport from Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Delhi effective December 12, 2022. The terminal change will offer better customer service and flyer footfall. These flights are being introduced in response to increasing demand and to improve accessibility between these regions during the peak season. With this move, IndiGo took a step forward in improving the travel experience of its customers by offering better international connectivity.

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) will raise Rs 10,000 crore in debt from domestic or overseas market to fund its oil refining and fuel marketing operations.
