Wanbury advances on transferring Formulation businesses to subsidiary company

Wanbury is currently trading at Rs 28.45, up by 0.45 points or 1.61% from its previous closing of Rs 28.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 27.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs.29.30 and Rs 26.70 respectively. So far 4804 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'T' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 37.80 on 17-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs 16.00 on 03-Sep-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 32.10 and Rs 27.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 48.66 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 41.36% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.42% and 50.95% respectively.

Wanbury has received an approval for restructuring of business by way of transferring the Formulation businesses to a subsidiary of the company. The board at its meeting held on February 07, 2013 has approved for the same.

The restructuring is however subject to the approval of the bankers of the company and other regulatory authorities.

Wanbury’s major thrust area lies in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) and Contract Research and Manufacturing Services (CRAMS). It has a presence in Spain through its branded formulation business - Cantabria Pharma S. L acquired in 2006.
