Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) has received Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Southern Railway for ‘Provision of Automatic Block Signaling with Dual MSDAC, EI/OC Interface and Block Optimization in Taduku (TDK)- Renigunta (RU) section and Replacement of EI/RRI at Taduku (TDK), Pudi (Pudi) & Sri Venkata Perumal Raju Puram (SVF) Stations of Chennai (MAS) Division in Southern Railway (Reach-III). The project cost is Rs 38.97 crore (including GST).

In a step towards make in India and Building Aatmnirbhar Bharat ambition of Government of India, Rama Steel Tubes has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Uttar Pradesh for setting up of Steel Processing Unit including MS Pipes, STP Poles, GI Pipes, CR Coils, GP Coils, Colour Coated Coils.

Shyam Metalics and Energy has commissioned additional production capacity of 12,00,000 TPA (tonnes per annum) at its  Sambalpur Pellet Plant in Odisha. Consequently, the company is all set to start commercial production from the same plant.
