National Fertilizers’s FY11 net profit declines 19%

National Fertilizers has reported results for the year ended March 31, 2011.

The company’s net profit after tax for FY11 has declined by 19.24% at Rs 138.50 crore as compared to Rs 171.50 crore for FY10. Its total income has increased by 13.36% at Rs 5837.15 crore for the year under review from Rs 5149.01 crore in the previous year.

National Fertilizers is the second largest producer of urea in India and also manufactures spectrum of industrial products which include Methanol, Sodium Nitrate, Sodium Nitrite, Nitric Acid, Sulphur, Liquid Oxygen, Liquid CO2, Liquid Nitrogen etc.
