Bajaj Auto reports 11% fall in February sales

Bajaj Auto has reported fall of 11% in total sales to 2,80,226 units in February 2023 as against 3,16,020 in the same month last year. Total domestic sales increased by 36% to 1,53,291 units in February 2023 as compared to 1,12,747 units in February 2022. Total export sales decreased by 38% to 1,26,935 units in February 2023 as compared to 2,03,273 units in February 2022.

Total domestic two-wheeler sales were up by 25% at 1,20,335 units as compared to 96,523 units in the year-ago month. Total domestic Commercial Vehicles sales stood at 32,956 units in February 2023 as against 16,224 units in February 2022, registering a rise of 103%.

Bajaj Auto is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
