Axis Bank gains on launching leadership programme at ISB

Axis Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1403.15, up by 3.25 points or 0.23% from its previous closing of Rs. 1399.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1395.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1405.00 and Rs. 1383.05 respectively. So far 56793 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1519.00 on 01-Feb-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 922.00 on 18-May-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1420.00 and Rs. 1320.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 65243.39 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.45% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 49.57% and 8.90% respectively.

Axis Bank has launched a leadership programme at the Hyderabad-based Indian School of Business (ISB) to build a diversified leadership talent pipeline within the bank.

The leadership programme, 'We lead: Axis Bank-ISB’ is the first such attempt in the country by any bank to be run in partnership with the top management institute. With this, the bank aims at recruiting women students pursuing the PG programme at ISB into banking.
