Ultramarine & Pigments gets nod to set up new plant in Gujarat

Ultramarine & Pigments has received an approval for setting up of a new plant in Gujarat for manufacture of SLS / SLES (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate / Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate) and other specialty surfactants. The estimated project cost is Rs 42 crore and the same will be funded through internal accruals and term loan. The board of directors at its meeting held on March 29, 2013 has approved for the same.

Ultramarine & Pigments is one of the largest pigment and surfactant manufacturing company of Indian origin, having two factories in south India. It specializes in the manufacture of inorganic pigments and organic surfactants with international quality standard.
