GPT Infraprojects, Mastek and Indo National to see some action today

GPT Infraprojects (GPT) has bagged the largest single order in its history, valued at Rs 739 crore from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The order is for Construction of new 4 lane Prayagraj Southern Bypass from design km. 43.200 (near Mahuari) to design km. 50.860 (near Nababa urf Nibi Kala Uparhar) (design length 7.660 km) Package-2 under Phase-I on NH-19 in the state of UP under Bharatmala on EPC mode.

Mastek has been awarded a three-year contract from the UK’s Government Digital Service (GDS). The three-year contract is valued at £8.5 million, with options available to extend to a total of five years. Mastek, in collaboration with UK GDS will design, build, and operate the GOV.UK One Login Technical Service Desk (TSD). The TSD will serve as a single point of contact for resolving technical queries and issues 24X7. 

Indo National’s step-down subsidiary---Kineco Kaman Composites India has been awarded a Rs 100 crore ($12.39 Million) contract from BAE Systems to manufacture and export fully assembled Mission Crew Workstations (Consoles) for the Boeing P-8 Poseidon Aircraft. The Boeing P-8 Poseidon is a long-range multi-mission patrol and reconnaissance aircraft regarded as one of the most capable aircraft in its class. The Indian Navy operates 12 P-8 Poseidon aircrafts. 

Indusind Bank has reported 21.98% rise in its consolidated net profit at Rs 2202.16 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2023 as compared to Rs 1805.28 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 26.22% at Rs 13529.68 crore for Q2FY24 as compared Rs 10719.20 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Infosys has expended its alliance with Google Cloud to help enterprises build AI-powered experiences leveraging Infosys Topaz offerings and Google Cloud’s generative AI solutions. As part of the expansion, Infosys will create the new global Generative AI Labs to develop industry-specific AI solutions and platforms, which will help enterprises infuse generative AI into their business processes.

SJVN has issued a Letter of Award (LoA) to EKI Energy Services for Registration, Issuance and Purchase / Trading of International Renewable Energy Certificates (IRECs) Mechanism for 1,500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station (NJHPS). 

Wipro has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2023 (Q2FY24). The company has reported 9.71% fall in its net profit at Rs 2,061.30 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2,282.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 0.17% at Rs 17,365.10 crore for Q2FY24 as compared Rs 17,394.60 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. On consolidated basis, the company has reported 0.69% rise in its net profit at Rs 2,667.30 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2023 as compared to Rs 2,649.10 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 0.88% at Rs 23,255.70 crore for Q2FY24 as compared Rs 23,052.00 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
