Transport Corporation of India has entered into agreement with the consortium of sellers lead by Nakanishi Shipbuilding, Japan. The agreement is for building of two Cellular Container Vessels having Dead Weight Capacity (DWT) of around 7300 MT each for a contract price of around $34 million.
The vessels shall be delivered to the company, in accordance with the Specifications and with all Classification and Statutory Certificates and acceptance by the Company in accordance with the provisions of the contract on or before June 30, 2026, unless otherwise mutually agreed.
