Insecticides India is planning to invest Rs 130 crore in the next two fiscals to boost the formulation capacity at its plants in Gujarat, Rajasthan and Jammu and Kashmir. While, the company, in this fiscal, will invest Rs 30 crore via internal accruals, in Gujarat and Rajasthan, it will take up technical capacity expansion at Dahej with Rs 100 crore investment next fiscal.
The company is planning to increase Dahej capacity by 5,000 to 8,000 tonnes once the capacity utilization reaches 90% from 60%. Meanwhile, it expects its pesticide formulation (granules) capacity to go up by 8,000 tonnes with the expansion at Rajasthan going on stream this quarter.
