Indian Oil Corporation jumps on turning black in Q2

Indian Oil Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 89.55, up by 1.29 points or 1.46% from its previous closing of Rs. 88.26 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 89.14 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 89.91 and Rs. 87.67 respectively. So far 1506796 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 101.44 on 10-Jul-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 68.05 on 31-Oct-2022.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported net profit at Rs 13713.08 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 910.21 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 11.98% at Rs 205789.51 crore for Q2FY24 as compared Rs 233800.98 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
